Living the Green Dream

We are currently enjoying cooler weather, lots of green views, and even some rain.  We are taking advantage of the week long Eid holiday and changed our normal scenery. I will be back after the trip with more details but for now we are taking it easy.

Iftar

We partook in more Ramadan excitement by attending an iftar which is the meal at sunset to break the fast.  This iftar was a buffet to allow for quick food intake.

It was just kind of an awkward photo evening, so enjoy.

And every buffet dinner needs a stallion protecting the dessert:

There are only a coupe days left of Ramadan, then we will enjoy the Eid break.  I am sorry to be missing all the fun in Cody.  Sending lots of love.

Garangao

Garangao is a celebration halfway through Ramadan.  It is similar to trick-or-treating at Halloween without the spooky business (only treats, no tricks).  Children dress up and travel to houses to receive small gifts and/or food.

I didn't knock on any neighbor's doors, but I nailed the costume part:

Thinking about everyone at the campout.  Happy Anniversary Nate and Megan!

July Jubilance

Happy 4th of July!  We had all sorts of patriotic fun, but missed seeing fireworks.
Remember when we went to watch turtles lay their eggs (remind yourself here)? Well, they hatched.

So much cuteness.  I stole some turtle pictures

Happy birthday Sammy.  I hope you have the greatest day ever.  Happy birthday Christopher.  We are celebrating in your honor.
